
Dr. Ricardo R. Quinn
“A Leader For the Times”
Leading Influentially For the Times renders on-demand insights into the behaviors of leaders that influence “the people” they serve from Dr. Ricardo R. Quinn, an elementary school principal who is currently in his 20th year as an educator and a military officer serving in his 25th year as a Soldier in the United States Army Reserve. Ricardo is a subject matter expert on leadership development, teaching, coaching, and mentoring. In addition, he has worked with various schools, central office divisions, the military, and faith based organizations, identifying and responding to the current needs as well as creating “calls to action” designed to increase organizational effectiveness.
Dr. Quinn has been featured in NPR ED: Training Role Models for Young African Americans and The Wallace Foundation Case Studies, Cultivating Leadership: Case Studies in Developing Assistant Principals. In addition, he has been featured as a “Promise Talk” speaker in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Ricardo has also authored articles for The US Army Times and The US Army Reserve Griffon. He has also presented at conferences where he has focused on topics but not limited to Leadership Behaviors to Increase Student Achievement, Lifting the Level of Teacher Effectiveness: The Principal As A Coach and Scheduling Your Day for Instructional Focus.
